The lecture, titled �Pulling new drug candidates from the fires of inflammation,� will take place March 10, 2016, at 4 p.m. in the first floor auditorium of the Medical Sciences Building on USA�s main campus.
Dr. Freeman received his undergraduate degree and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of California in Riverside, Calif. Dr. Freeman is a founding member of the Vascular Medicine Institute and a member of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
The primary focus of Dr. Freeman's lab is on the eukaryotic cell production, reactions and signal transduction properties of oxidizing and free radical inflammatory mediators.
