Med School Cafe - Expert Advice for the Community


Renee Hall, occupational therapist and clinical supervisor of outpatient therapy at the University of South Alabama, presented the December Med School Cafe lecture titled "Upper Extremity Arthritis Management Tips" on Dec. 11, 2015.

Hall discussed arthritis, a disease that causes painful inflammation and stiffness of the joints. She included information on how to improve pain, range of motion and overall performance of daily activities.

The next Med School Caf� lecture will feature Dr. Ron Brooks, assistant professor of surgery at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and a plastic surgeon with USA Physicians Group. His lecture, titled �Cosmetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery,� will be held on Jan. 29, 2016, at the USA Faculty Club on USA�s main campus.
